Planning to explore the legendary Pamir Highway with us? Great choice! Whether you’re traveling solo or with friends, we make it simple to join one of our shared tours or organize a private trip that fits your schedule. Here's how the booking process works with Discover The Pamirs.
Start by checking our Departure List to see upcoming tours. Each departure includes details like:
Start and end dates
Available spots
Participant names and countries
Tour status (Guaranteed, Pending, Available, or Full)
This helps you decide which group fits your schedule and preferences.
Once you find a tour you'd like to join, simply send us an email or click on the "Book" button and fill out the booking form and send request. There’s no payment required upfront to reserve a spot on a pending tour, or at the initial step. We’ll confirm your interest and add your name to the list, after discussing the questions you may have along with your request email.
If the tour status is Pending, we’ll wait until enough travelers join. We’ll keep you updated by email and notify you as soon as the tour is confirmed. You also can check the live status on our website.
If the tour is already Guaranteed, you can proceed to the next step right away.
A tour can be guaranteed even before it is full. It depends on the participants of the departure.
Once the tour is confirmed (either because it was guaranteed or it filled up), we’ll ask you to confirm your spot and send a small deposit. The rest of the payment can usually be made on arrival.
For confirmed departures, we often create a private group chat (WhatsApp or Telegram) so that participants can:
Introduce themselves
Coordinate arrival plans
Ask questions or share ideas
It’s a great way to get to know your fellow travelers before the journey begins.
Our tours typically start and end in Dushanbe (Tajikistan) or Osh (Kyrgyzstan). Once you share you pick-up location 1 day before the departure, our driver will pick you up from your hotel at the agreed time, and from there, your Pamir adventure begins!
Accommodation and meals are paid directly during the trip, keeping things flexible and affordable. We arrange the transportation and logistics, so you can focus on the stunning landscapes and new friendships.
