Why we do not offer many self-drive rentals
Driving in Tajikistan, especially in the Pamir region, can be challenging due to mountain roads, remote areas, and limited roadside services. In addition, the insurance system in the country does not provide comprehensive coverage for rental vehicles, particularly for off-road travel in remote regions.
For these reasons, we limit the number of vehicles available for self-drive rental and strongly recommend traveling with a local driver. This approach helps ensure safety for travelers and reduces potential complications in case of accidents or vehicle damage.
