Tajikistan travel restrictions during covid-19

A lot of our website visitors have contacted us and asked questions related to Tajikistan travel restrictions during the covid-19 pandemic. Therefore I have created this news to answer the latest travel updates on visiting Tajikistan during the covid-19 pandemic.

As of June 30, 2021, Tajikistan is open to visit via plane for all visitors (exluding India and Afghanistan) who must have a negative PCR test result taken less than 72 hours before the flight.  PCR test is required from everyone entering Tajikistan, whether they have vaccinated and have certificate or not.

In addition, all citizens arriving in Tajikistan at the airport will need to pass another PCR test, it is free. They are also advised to be in self-isolation for three days. If the result of the PCR test is positive, a doctor will be sent to him from the polyclinic at the place of residence or registration, if he is a foreign citizen. The infected person will be isolated until complete recovery.

On June 21, the Republican headquarters for strengthening anti-epidemic measures to prevent the spread of a new infection confirmed the presence of coronavirus in the country and called on all citizens to comply with anti-epidemiological measures: it is mandatory to wear masks, use disinfectants, and not go anywhere unless absolutely necessary. Over the past three days, according to the country's Ministry of Health, 63 new cases of coronavirus infection have been registered. No deaths were reported.
